Outdoor Classroom STEM/STEAM is meant to spark curiosity when outdoors. Getting out of the classroom to work in the areas of STEM/STEAM help to foster students’ abilities to be curious and ask questions! Taking care of our environment tomorrow means instilling a love of nature in today’s students. Materials needed for each activity are listed below. I find it useful to utilize clipboards or journals in all of these activities. 5 wonderful activities are included in the areas of Life and Earth Science integrated with the other STEAM areas. Each lesson is available in 2 formats.
